Nathan opened a modest retail outlet in 1989 where his business steadily grew. He ultimately formed a large family-owned operation, namely Joe Hughes International Ltd, which now owns three large fishing tackle outlets, as well as Wovencrest which is a wholesaler to the trade of many leading brands. Nathan also owns Joe Hughes Speedway which is one of the leading speedway and grasstrack equipment dealers in the world.

Not being a company that stands still, Wovencrest have now launched their own range of innovative match tackle under their Feva brand and a specimen range under Fishtail brand. We offer tackle that is second-to-none and surpasses the "run of the mill" gear that can be found in today’s market.
